Established in 1992,it is Provincial Economic Development Zone which is located at northwest of Zhangzhou City,the distance from development zone to Zhangzhou harbour and Xiamen harbour are 30 kilometer and 50 kilometer respectively,it’s crossed by Zhang-long Expressways and No.319 National Highways,the transportation is very convenient.With the constrution of Long-Xia,Xia-shen high-speed railway,Fu-Guang,Xia-Cheng expressway,the distance from Jinfeng develop to other developed areas is reduced.Planning area 56.52 square kilometer,developed area 9.69 square kilometer,to the end of 2010,the development zone has invested 1.36 billion yuan for infrastructure construction,supporting infrastructure construction is consummate.Now,365 enterprises from fifteen different country have been settled in Jinfeng development zone,leading in 406 projects,total investment 1.589 billion dollars. An industry system comprises“4+2”four leading industries of equipment manufacture,electron technology,furniture,high quality foodstuffs and two strategic industries of auto parts,special steel has been established. In 2010,the Gross Output Value of Industrial amount to ￥21.258 billion,earn foreign exchange $371 million,the fiscal revenues amount to 449 million yuan.
