Fujian Longhai Economic Developmen Zone is combined by Longhai Jiaomei Industrial Development Zone and Zhangzhou Longchi Development Zone in 2006,it is Provincial Economic Development Zone which located at Jiaomei Town of Longhai City,bordered by Xiamen on the east,the distance from development zone to Xiamen Gaoqi international airport,Xiamen eastern ferry,Songyu international container terminal are 25 kilometer,15 kilometer and 13 kilometer respectively. As the traffic hinge of the triangular area in south Fujian Province,it’s crossed by Xia-Zhang.Zhang-Zhao,Zhang-Long Expressways and No.324 and No.319 National Highways.Planning area 17.33 square kilometer,to the end of 2010,the development zone has invested 1.28 billion yuan for infrastructure construction,supporting infrastructure construction is consummate.Now,960 projects have been settled in the development zone,total investment 1.181 billion dollars, An industry cluster comprises metal products,food processing,paper products processing and new building material has been established.In 2010,the Gross Output Value of Industrial amount to ￥14.88 billion,earn foreign exchange $277 million,the fiscal revenues amount to 705 million yuan.
