Zhangzhou Merchants Bureau Economic and Technological Development Zone.Established in 1992,the Department of Natinal and Technological Economic Development Zone which is located at the south of Xiamen Bay,the distance from development zone to Taiwan Gaoxiong harbour and Taizhong harbour are 140 sea mile and 120 sea miles respectively.Total planning area 56.17 square kilometer,it spent a total of 11.953 billion yuan on construction of infrastructural facilities,developed area 19.42 square kilometer.The water supply, power supply, communication,port and road systems which designed by city standardization construction has formed.At the same time,international standard golf course,four stars level hotel, high-grade rooming house, Office Building, business center,schools,hospital and other supporting facilities has been constructed.More than 400 enterprises which from America,Germany,Holland and Hongkong have settled,total investment 3 billion dollars.In 2010,the Gross Output Value of Industrial amount to ￥10.941 billion,earn foreign exchange $266 million,the fiscal revenues amount to ￥789 million.
