　　The national-level Taiwanese Investment Zone is located at the central and easterns parts of Jiaomei Town.It lies to the northwest of Xiamen bay and consists of Jiaomei diversified industrial development zone and Longchi development zone. Total planning area of the Taiwanese Investment Zone are 20 square kilometers , developable area 16 square kilometers.
　　The planning layout is“one heart and four district” namely Center Service District,Light Industrial Products Advanced District,Electronic Auto District,Metal Products and New Manufacturing District.The orientation of industrial development is as follows: Advanced manufacturing base of Western Coast of the Taiwan Straits, Fujian and Taiwan Industrial Demonstration Zone and Traditional Industries Upgrading Zone.
