World culture heritage. The best sight of this group of Tulou is obtained from the viewing terrace on Shizhi (Lion) mountain. Two streams meet at the left foot of Shizhi mountain in the shape of Chinese character “丁”. People believe that the water is a geomantic omen for the village. Within an area of less than one kilometer at the back of Shizhi Mountain and by the streams, closely crowd fourteen gigantic Tulou of different times. This clusters of buildings miniatures the evolution of Tulou. Surprisingly, seven square-Tulou built in Ming or Qing dynasty and the other seven round-Tulou built in modern times form two sets of Ursa Major constellation on the earth. The beauty of Heken Tulou cluster also lies in its perfect integration with environment. To blend manual work with nature not only contributes one more natural scenery of wonder, but also creates an ideal ecological environment.
